Images of slrn ...
This page aims to give a pictorial view of slrn in action and replaces a similar page created by Felix Schüller. Usually about a dozen images will be in place and for the most part they will demonstrate techniques and features that are easily achieved with a basic installation of the current slrn. At the moment these images show slrn pre0.9.9.
The images
These screenshots show something of a departure from the "standard" white on black terminal colors of slrn and in fact represent my own personal settings of black on white. The image of Neo is of course a function of the Terminal rather than slrn itself!

The eagle-eyed observer may have noticed the references to "localhost" in these images which gives a hint that the NNTP proxy server Leafnode is being used on this system. Also the unpublished patch "custom_os" has altered the User-Agent string but otherwise a standard copy of slrn has been used.
